Kinder, die Sie direkt unterstützen können

Touch Neth, 14

Touch Neth is a 14-year-old boy. He was born in a very poor family. He has got 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and he is the 3rd son in his family. He is now at grade 7 of state school. His family moved from Prey Veng province to live in Sihanoukville because of the poor harvest. His father is a building worker, who earns money only enough for food and his mother has no job because she is often ill. So, to lighten the family expenses, Touch Neth, his brother and sister have worked very hard on the beach when they have free time from the school to collect empty cans, waste plastic etc - to sell for an absolute minimum price - next to this if they finds a nice-looking seashell they take that to their father who makes souvenir ornaments which they will try to sell to tourists. As you know, it is very hard to persuade tourists to buy as the ornament is too fragile to transport and many countries have banned these types of souvenirs.

Thai Sothear wants to go on his education to university very much after he graduates from high school. He told me that he wanted to be a teacher of English if he would have got a golden opportunity to study at university. He feels very optimistic about his future after hearing this wonderful news from you and he told me that he would very much appreciate if he would have got sponsorship to go on his education at university and that his dream would become true.

Din Phanis wants to go to English school very much but his mother can't send him to get English lessons because of her income is enough only for food from day to day.

Chan Bora, 14

So Savoeun, 12

Suon Sothonchesda, 13

Suon Sothonchesda is a 13-year-old boy. There are 5 members in his family. He is the first son in the family. His parents were divorced when he was 11 years old. He is now at grade 8 of state school. Suon Sothonchesda is a gentle and very pitiful boy. If he has a sponsor, he determines that he will study successfully. He will not make his sponsor disappointed by him. His mother is a greengrocer at the market of Phsaleu in Sihanoukville. His mother has no own shop at the market. She has to rent a shop to sell. The money getting from selling vegetable cannot support Suon Sothonchesda to study enough. His mother, his sisters and brother want Suon Sothonchesda to studying and getting good job very much. So, to lighten the family expenses, Suon Sothonchesda, his sisters and brother have worked very hard on the beach when they have free time from school to collect empty cans, waste plastic etc... to sell for an absolute minimum price... next to this if they find a nice-looking seashell, they take that to their mother who makes souvenir ornaments which they will try to sell to tourists. As you know, it is very hard to persuade tourists to buy as the ornament is too fragile to transport and many countries have banned these types of souvenirs.
